About usThe Association of Chemical Engineers of Serbia (AChE), founded in 1953, brings together professionals, researchers, and experts in the fields of chemical engineering and chemical technology.
Our mission is to promote continuous professional development, encourage knowledge exchange, and support innovation in line with the principles of sustainable and responsible development. Through cooperation with international organizations such as the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) and the European Young Engineers (EYE), we strengthen global connections within the engineering community.
SHI actively supports the professional community by organizing scientific and professional conferences, training programs, workshops, and lectures. As the publisher of two international scientific journals indexed in the Science Citation Index (SCI), we promote the latest achievements in chemical engineering. We also support the professional development of our members, encourage collaboration, and contribute to the advancement of both industry and science.

Excellence in Scientific Publishing
The Association of Chemical Engineers of Serbia publishes two internationally recognized scientific journals: Chemical Industry and Chemical Engineering Quarterly (Chem. Ind. Chem. Eng. Q.) and Hemijska industrija (Hem. Ind.), both indexed in the Science Citation Index (SCI).
