The Association of Chemical Engineers of Serbia organised the 1st SHI WORKSHOP, dedicated to trends and challenges in implementing the process requirements of the SRPS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard in accredited laboratories.
The two-day workshop was held on 23 and 24 March 2026 at Hotel Palisad on Zlatibor, and the programme covered several topics relevant to the work of accredited laboratories.
A special part of the programme focused on the PT scheme for drinking-water sampling in accordance with SRPS ISO 5667-5:2008, carried out to mark World Water Day.
The two-day seminar also covered the following topics:
- validation and verification of methods;
- the concept of ensuring the validity of results (QC/QA);
- evaluation of measurement uncertainty in analytical and sampling methods.
The workshop provided an opportunity to exchange professional experience and improve knowledge in the fields of accreditation, laboratory methods, quality control and sampling.
